Infinithéâtre, Montreal’s Indie English-language theatre company, is looking for

1.  Youth and Community Groups Outreach Coordinator 2018- 2019 Season


Job duties include:
*Manage all communications and relationships with schools and community groups
*Oversee all school and group ticket sales and in-school tour bookings
*Liaise with CEGEP and University Chairs and teachers to understand needs, including some evenings at performances
*Create comprehensive study guides and teacher curriculums for all season plays
*Develop all schools and community groups marketing and publicity material in conjunction with hired graphic designer
*Serve on local “Le Plateau Building Bridges with Le Plateau Schools/ Le Plateau Comité Ponts avec le scolaire” committee
*Communications between artists, staff, our partners and the audience required
*Assist with youth and community group related funding applications when necessary
*Carry out general office tasks and necessary duties in line with this position

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
*Experience in both the theatrical and education milieu
*Extensive experience selling into the education market
*Thorough knowledge in working with community groups
*Previous experience and/or an interest in marketing/advertising is an asset
*Comfortable multi-tasking
*Self-starter, Resourceful, Hard-working, Results Oriented, Organized
*Strong knowledge of computer environment (Mac OS, Excel, Word)
*Strong knowledge of graphic design and video filming & editing an asset

While Infinithéâtre is primarily an English-language theatre company, candidates must be fully bilingual in English and French. Contract begins in August 1, 2018 – Ending April 7, 2019. $20,000 for 36-week contract working out of Infinitheatre’s office (MAC laptop provided). 3-days per week for 24hrs per week. 2. Box Office & Sales Manager – 2018- 2019 Season   


 Job duties include:
  
*Managing the box office and create promotional campaigns for each show, market research and audience mediation programs 
*Managing bookings, selling tickets and season subscriptions 
*Selling advertising space in programs 
*Assembling program materials for the graphic designer 
*Carrying out daily office tasks, preparations and maintenance 
*Communications between artists, staff, our partners and the audience 
*Assist Artistic Director when necessary 
*Assisting with funding applications when necessary 


The ideal candidate has the following qualifications: 
*Knowledge and experience in the theatrical milieu 
*Previous experience and/or an interest in marketing/advertising is an asset 
*Comfortable multi-tasking 
*Versatile
*Resourceful
*Hard-working
*Organizational skills 
*Strong knowledge of computer environment (Mac OS, Excel, Word) 
*Strong knowledge of graphic design and video editing an asset

30-week contract September, 2018 – April 2019. Full-time 40hrs/wk.
